Pillars Peer Educators Make their Debut at Worcester Academy

The Pillars are a group of 29 Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors who were selected to be Peer Educators at Worcester Academy for the 2009-2010 school year. The Pillars organization is build upon the five pillars of Worcester Academy’s Core Values (Honor, Respect, Challenge, Personal Growth, and Community). The members of the group are tasked with bringing the Core Values into their mission to educate their peers around issues of character education, healthy behavior skills, and social justice. They will bring these topics into the forefront in forums including the 9th and 10th grade health and wellness classes, class meetings, advisory periods, and other school-wide events.
